Newlook Announces Record April Revenues
TORONTO, ONTARIO, May 5, 2008 - Newlook Industries Corp. (TSX Venture Exchange: NLI), ("Newlook") is pleased to announce that April 2008 unaudited consolidated revenues from continuing operations were a record CAD$3,383,000.
Retail segment revenues were approximately CAD$1,631,000 and commercial segment revenues were approximately CAD$1,752,000.
John G. Simmonds, Newlook CEO stated; "During the month of April the Company received accolades from both of our carrier partners. Our Broad Street store was our Saskatchewan carrier's number one location for cellular sales in 2007 and our Garden City Tier 2 store in Manitoba achieved highest sales volume growth at the annual dealer awards gala. Our retail staff and management are to be commended for a job exceptionally well done. Corporately we are on target for a record year and our Wireless Age subsidiary continues to purchase shares of its own common stock for cancellation. During April, 70,300 shares were acquired and year to date 849,100 common shares have been cancelled, representing approximately 1.5% of the outstanding stock on January 1, 2008."
